This rosary is inspired by St. Scholastica, the twin sister of St. Benedict and foundress of the Benedictine nuns. The decade has black and white as outside decade accents- representative of the habit colors of Benedictine nuns. The inside of the decade and Our Father beads is made with Montana Blue czech glass, which is reminiscent of the color of the stained glass chapel windows in the choir chapel of the Mount Saint Scholastica Benedictine Sisters in Atchison, KS, which depicts scenes from the life of Sts. Benedict and Scholastica. The bracelet has a St. Benedict medal centerpiece and a Silver Benedictine crucifix.
